Abba Abubakar, son of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, supports President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, says it is a personal decision based on his convictions and conscience.

Abba, who is the Founder and Chairman of the Haske Bola Tinubu Organisation (HBTO), said his organization HBTO was established as a political mobilisation platform for Nigerians who support Tinubu’s leadership and the reform agenda of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

The HBTO chairman also announced that the organisation would begin a transportation support programme with an initial provision of 10 luxury buses in the Federal Capital Territory before expanding to other parts of the country.

Abba Atiku disclosed plans for a two-million-man mobilisation march across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, beginning in Abuja and his organisation plans to work with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike's rainbow coalition and other political stakeholders to mobilise support for Tinubu in the FCT and Rivers State ahead of the 2027 election.

He added that HBTO was preparing for a major mobilisation exercise in Rivers State next week, while plans were underway to establish its structures across the six geopolitical zones.
